    Blessings to all BAs and yer loved ones. Kilt off my Green Flash, now enjoying Fullers 1845 and Old Bushmills. Tryin' to hold off on the Dundee Irish Red till the morrow, but dunno. Listening to Biggie, Rollin mutherfuckin Stones and Van Morrison. Peace. and luv too.

    Definitely get it. Madame Rose is one beer that truly takes advantage of the wine barrel and integrates those characteristics seamlessly; the base beer is tremendous as well. I paid $16, and would do it again in a heartbeat.

    16 bucks sounds like a lot for a beer, Tongo, but I see folks payin' WAY more than that for a wine. Meself, I'd rather have beer, but that's just meself. I'd like to try this Madame Rose that you speak of.

    It's made in the style of a Flemish Red, so you probably have to have some appreciation for the style if you do take the plunge- and you could almost get two Rodenbach Grand Cru for the same price, so that's where I'd compare things price-wise. Still, the cherries and wine barrel aging definitely brings it to that other level for me.
