    Tonights new offerings:

Damn delicious IPA. Lots of tangerine, grapefruit, and citrus rinds, with a good amount of pine and floral notes. Moderate malt backbone that balances but does not take over. No complaints at all.

Someone on here mentioned that Gambrinus should be drank before it turns 2 years, so here it is. April 2011 bottle. Fricking outstanding stuff. Tone of tart and sour raspberries with sour apple, cherry, hay, straw, pepper, clove, oak, and leather with funk and earthy yeast notes. Tons of complexity and depth. Acidity is moderately high but not overwhelming. I am glad this was well carbonated, my first Cantillon was nearly flat(2007 Kriek). I hope to someday find another one of those.

Cork Battle #5, this was totally glued on. Wouldn't budge so I ripped off the protruding part and used the corkscrew. Still wouldn't move. Ended up ripping out the center of the cork, and took a mini screwdriver to swipe around the edge. Finally pulled it out with the corkscrew and pulled against the edge. A few crumbles got in, but it wasn't bad. ANYWAYS: This was really nice for a Dubbel. Lots of deep malty caramel/toffee/molasses with dark fruits and a nice balance of pepper/clove yeast spiciness. Not super complex, but the balanced malt/peppery esters is how I like them.

Great spiced imperial stout! Not on the caliber of say, Pumpkinator; but this was so damn delicious. Tons of well balanced spice notes with plenty of dark chocolate, dark bread, and other dark malt notes. Not as overly roasty like I was expecting. Well balanced/no cloying.
