new bif: MLB BIF 2013

    Granted all three teams are in the middle of the pack as far as odds' go. I totally agree Oakland has a good chance of doing something, and Pitts has a great chance of sucking, this season.

    Still, the teams should be picked out of loyalty regardless, I think. I guess there are ashamed Milwaukeeians, Oaklanders, & Pittsburghians lol.

    Either way, any team not picked is disqualified from the winnings. So if one of these three teams is the worst team at the end of the season, then no one wins the beer for being the worst team. And if one of these teams (Oaklnad) wins the World Series, no one gets the beer for the Championship either. So it is kind of important every team in the league gets picked. And the same goes for the divisions.

    Two more weeks to go before I shut it down (March 30th).

    Has the idea of one person picking 2 teams if no one else claims them been discussed? You're right...it would really suck if no one picked the best or worst. Just throwing it out there....

    This was brought up last season. Only one team per person; sorry those are the rules. I can't believe no one picked the Brewers yet, on a beer site.

    On a side note, if one of these teams does not win the World Series or doesn't come in last in the league there is still an oportunity to win some beer, within the division. If your team wins the division, you recieve beer from the middle three teams, and if your team comes in last in the division you recieve beer from said winner of the division. So if anyone is interested in Oakland, Milwaukee or Pittsburgh let me know in the thread or BM me.

    Also, shit talking is very, VERY important in this BIF; so let her rip.
    (Except MrVonZipper, he is ruthlessly brutal...and hilarious at times!!!)

    But yea, I'm a yanks and rays fan, the east is gonna be rough for a while. I'm excited to see how that plays out, and who gets boxes in that division. Good thing I'm not a gambling man and chose any of them.

    It'll be weird swing the sox in last in the division.

    After much consideration, I figured you can't have the Mets because they are going to come in last this year, and you can't win two times in a row; or I will have to murder the Eagles & Phils. :wink:

    Tonight WBC FINAL Puerto Rico vs Dominican Republic guess final score and winner.
    Closest score picked with correct winner wins, all who join will ship at least one bottle to the winner.
    Bets must be in by the final out of the first inning game
