Fruet was one tasty bitch. I'm looking forward to this one, but not the $30 price tag.

 

Same here.
Fruet is easily in the top 3 beers I've ever had the pleasure of drinking.

 

Any fruet still hanging around in NJ, southern to be specific, saw it a few months back at one shop but then my next time in it was gone.

Look forward to the 5th anniv.

 

The anniversary beers have gotten markedly better fresh each year going back to Coton. Fruet was very good, so I'm really looking forward to Bois (as well as the different barrel treatments).

 

Coton and the CUIR is pretty Awesome as well. I just picked them both up from my local store, if you have the chance you should check them out!

 

Fruet is pretty much sold out in Southern California. I recently saw two at a little bottle shop, but I figured that Bois should be the same (if not better) since it's basically the same beer using the Solera method.

 

You're finding Coton and Cuir in stores still? Wow.

 

Looking forward to a night of drinking with the Bois

 

i heard it might be $50 a bottle.

The names of the beers follow along with traditional wedding anniversary gifts as translated in French. “Bois” is translated from “Wood.”

 

Probably in May, that's when the other anniversary beers were released.

Which shop in Southern California did you see it at?

 

I can't imagine it would be that big of an increase over Fruet, since 100% of Fruet was barrel aged.

 

We can work out a trade--hit me off line and let me know; we can match $4$, but you are right, it is pretty costly!
