Latest Pipeworks Releases and Updates

I just got back from being over there, they had most of a case left. One per person thankfully!

 

Thanks for the heads up. Just grabbed a bottle from Fischmans. Now I have to decide whether to drink right away or age it a little (wish I could have gotten 2).

I got one today. Drinking it right now. It's amazing. By far my favorite Pipeworks brew. Need to find one to age now.

 

Anyone find RTA in the 'burbs yet? I'm hoping it hits the Binny's locations outside of the city. Sounds awesome.

 

We opened a bottle on Friday and found it to be vinous and medicinal. We were all a little disappointed.

 

Heard the same from a friend, which is why I'm strongly considering not trying it and just aging.

 

Picked up a bottle of RTA at Printers Row Wine Shop in the South Loop. Had about 5 bottles when I left at 6pm.

 

man, RTA is selling out fast. binnys south loop sold out in one hour. beer temple is out too.

 

It doesn't help that South Loop Binny's only got one case... I mean, c'mon.

 

Pretty sure that most stores got just one case.

 

Not in here much. But quick question.

I walked into a bynnies maybe 2 weeks ago and asked if there was anything new to try. Since I don't stalk pipeworks like everyone else in this thread (JK...but kind if serious) I didn't realize unicorn revenge had been released. So the guy told me he had just the thing for me and went into the back and grabbed a unicorns revenge.

It was amazing

Haven't been out for beer since, is there a chance of me finding anymore? Sounds like its a no, but I mostly wanted to stop in compliment the beer anyway. Good stuff, thanks pipeworks!

 

Bunnies are nice, you shouldn't walk into them. Unicorns revenge is gone from most places but well probably see it again, pretty much all of the Pipeworks IPAs are good so you should try whichever one they put out next.

 

Thanks, citra ninja is something I've never had but am very excited for. Just got from college last year in Nebraska. Not to much selection out there.

Citra Ninja next week, Something Hoppy hitting stores this week... should be at that place I'm not allowed to mention anymore until it's actually physically at that place which I'm not allowed to mention anymore.... but when it is physically there I'll mention it.

we now distribute to over 100 accounts... so we are double batching things, average about 80 cases a batch, so by double batching we can get a case to each account + larger amount for fwb accounts. We'll hone it in a little more as we go, but just wanted to make sure we could support double batching first... looks like we can now. New beers will be a single batch at first as a test, so RTA was only enough for about 35 stores to get a case + fwb cases. Next time we'll make quite a bit more.. and probably some orange truffle =)

 

It's probably a tedious task that I will request anyways, because it might benefit the community as a whole, and forgive me if the info is somewhere on your flash-based website that I cannot view because I board and search 100% of the time from my phone, but can you provide a list of stores that you distribute to so that I don't feel like I'm on a wild goose chase stopping by random stores or calling any store listed online? Not everyone uses BeerMenus either, so it would be helpful to know where one might find your latest releases locally. Thanks and keep up the good work!
