Thanks, looks like Crooked Ladder isn't open yet either. Anyone know if the Greenport Harbor Peconic location is open?

Are you sure that the new GHBC location is open? Everything I've seen suggests that it's not really close at all to being open.

Not supposed to be ready until 2014. The new Great South bay location is open, but not greenport harbor

That's what I thought. I couldn't tell if he was Yes-ing the fact that Crooked Ladder is not open, which is true, or that the Peconic location of Greenport was open, which it is not.

GHBC is building a second brewery location at the old Lucas Ford dealership in Peconic. It seems like toberlone was asking if this second location was open for business yet. The main location in Greenport is the only functioning spot at the moment

Thanks for the clarification. I was in fact asking about the new GBHC locale.

So GBHC is not open at the new place, nor is Moustache, or Crooked Ladder. Can't visit Spider Bite, Montauk is too far, Barrier is too out of the way. Might just get some Long Ireland and a growler fill or two at Riverhead Beverage, bring some of my own bottles, and call it good.

Does Blue Point ever have anything out of the ordinary on tap at the brewery? Their website makes it seem like they only have stuff I can already get in stores around the tri-state area.

Most of the times I have been there they have something on cask, but not every time. Mostly the stuff on tap is what you can find in most places, but occasionally they have small batch stuff on tap, and the bottles they sell are way cheaper than if you buy them elsewhere.

They still had a few in that little fridge by the hostess stand and the hostess said they had some more, BUT what i pulled out of the fridge was numbers 446, 447 and 449. I bought them.....I was hoping for 450/450, but they must keep that one to themsevles!

Super reasonable at $16 a bottle. Not bad at all for a RIS in a 750ml.
