Just found a bottle of this from 2008 in my cellar. Anyone ever age this?

I have a 2008 in the cellar and drank one last month. Pretty funky, a lot going on still and very tasty. I wouldn't worry about opening it immediately if you've got more time.

    Is it Batch2 or Batch3?

IMO Batch2 is drinking much better than Batch 3.

Batch 3. Would you say batch 3 is drinking bad right now, or just needs that extra few month to get it to Batch 2's level?

    Thanks for the responses!

Batch 3 will never become batch 2. Batch 2 is much drier than batch 3 and if batch 3 didn't dry out by now (5 years), I don't think it's going to.
The Brett really took hold in batch 2, not as much in batch 3. Batch 2's cork will explode like champagne when you open it, whereas batch3's cork wont.

I say you drink it and if you like it, you can always find more. I was in North Eastern PA a few months ago and there was BDM at a bunch of places.

Great to hear. I popped open on of my Batch2's this weekend and it was also fantastic!
