After the mass hysteria I have had a hard time finding it in some places.

Snagged two and while delicious it still doesn't compare to the BBA.

 

Anyone going to Barn Burner this Saturday? I think I'll probably go. I need dat glass.

I figured places would do that to OG Hellfighter because of the hype w/ BBA Hellfighter.

 

Picked up 2 bottles of Hellfighter at Whole Foods Sugar Land. There were 2 more bottles left on the shelf. Talked to the specialty cheese lady and she said they'll soon have 8-10 taps available for growler fills and in-store consumption I believe.

They currently have 2 taps on right now. (512) IPA and Full Sail Dopplebock.

 

Great to hear they are going to add some more taps....

Does anyone know if this is a new beer, or just re packaging/naming their original "Black IPA" they did when they first started?

 

I'm more focused on that specs tweeted it. To me it implies that specs has it. From my understanding its a BIPA, so I presume that's a Black IPA not Belgium IPA

Also feel it mentionable that the Hellfighrers rang up as "Krunkin Pumpkin".

Interesting... I'm not a huge Barnburner fan, but in white wine barrels sounds quite appealing.
