    Folklore - The Tale Of Van Winkle. Folklore aged in freshly emptied 20yr Pappy Van Winkle barrels that were kindly provided by our good friends at Lush Wines in Chicago.

    Honestly, underwhelming. I do feel like those barrels could have been put to better use.

    One and done for me tonight: had a pint of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale at Alto Cinco here in Syracuse this evening with dinner. But I have inadvertently consumed a waaaaay more food than I meant to today, so no more beer for me.

    So I pour my Pliny into the IU mug and then get the hairy eyeball from my wife...so half of it goes into her favorite Stone Levitation glass. (As did the Lawson's earlier tonight...19 yrs with a fellow hop head, 'can't get away with anything!!) For the last one (and she's not a NN fan)...this is why God gave us bombers...March Madness and a reason to not get off the couch (as soon... :wink:) ...last one of the night and wish it were Friday.

    And to the OP, gshack...because your Kostritzer glass is way cooler than mine. :slight_frown: (really enjoy that black lager too, btw)
