I always include a Hoponius Union in my trades...always

 

Had my first ever Hoponius last night. Man, you Mass folks have something special there. Kudos.

 

I purchased a couple bottles of Cascadian Schwarzbier at Yankee Spirits on Saturday. I love that stuff. I went to the brewery the day they were bottling it and putting it on for fills roughly two weeks ago. Blew my mind. super intense hop aroma and punch when i had it there. Havent cracked a bottle yet tho.

 

Does anyone know if they use a counter-pressure filler at the brewery? I'm assuming they do...

 

they have reinvigorated my love for craft beer. Love the beer and love the prices. A bit of what beer is about in Germany.

 

I don't think they do, but I think they purge the growlers with CO2. I could be misremembering that though.

 

Not for growler fills. They purge them with CO2 before filling from the bottom up.

 

Perfect. That does the trick.

 

I have been reading alot about these guys and now am ready to take the plunge. Stopping at Ryan and Casey's to grab some up this evening.

 

Get some. They have an excellent lineup. My favorites are Hoponius Union and Kiwi Rising (seasonal DIPL). When all else fails at my local shop I can always count on Hoponius Union. Great lager, unreal fresh and it's always readily available. I can't wait to get my hands on some BA Framinghammer when it's distributed in the next few weeks. Plus, MA local brewery so I always support that.

 

ABCs double IPL had a date on the board for next week when i was at the brewery yesterday.

 

Just went in for some of the Bourbon Barrel Framinghammer and it looks like ABCs will be available when they open for tastings and growler fills next week on 3/28

 

Bottles as well?

 

The ABCS will be available in bottles.

 

I don’t believe enough can be said about this brewery. Everything they do is truly excellent. My only wish is that I could see it on draft in more places. Hoponious Union should be a staple at every Mass bar.

 

Had a SA IPL tonight, which wasnt bad. Then followed it with a Hoponius, which Id had a while back, and made the first SA seem less important instantly!

 

I'll cry tears of joy the day Hoponious Union is as prevalent in MA bars as Harpoon IPA.

 

If I could like this 1,000 times I would. Harpoon has been around since '86. We've got a ways to go...

 

What kind of hops are used in the ABCs????
