Hops n Roses comes in a pudgy 375, like the RR sours.

    From left to right:

Bitter Valentine, Cafe Royale, Bourbon Barrel Porter (all from Williamsburg Alewerks) Bourbon Sidamo, regular Sidamo (From Hardywood)

A metric ****ton of candy which will be enjoyed when I feel like i deserve it and my very first Duvel glass! When I saw it through the bubble wrap I got super excited and tore it the hell open!

Mike this was a bad ass box. Seriously everything in there made my mouth water while unwrapping it. I havent had ANYTHING from either of these breweries so I am even more excited. The Duvel glass is awesome....i want to sleep with it and I just might tonight.

You went out with a vengeance and I love the living hell out of this box dude. Thank you so much!

    Cheers fellas!

Glad you liked it, I stayed close to the rules which I was worried about after seeing some of these posts, then I saw you say earlier you stayed close to the rules too so it made me feel better.

I am glad you did the same! Proof that awesome boxes can be made following the rules

    Cheers!

picking a nit here, but the RR's have the cork/cage mouth and the H&R has the cap mouth; a la Juicy.

/too much time on my hands

This would be a fun LIF--blurry pic of beers. First to name them all wins the bottles.

What I was saying was that not only was it not H&R (see: wrong bottle shape), but also that H&R has a different bottle mouth than RR sours; not that the beer in question was or wasn't an H&R or a RR sour.

Hop's & Roses is a chubby Belgian style bottle with a cap mouth. (right, below)
RR small-format sours are chubby Belgian bottles that have the cork/cage mouth. (left, below)

    /not sure that made sense

Well FedEx is still saying that someone will be getting a box tomorrow. I love FedEx's Saturday deliveries.

to my sender: My shipping address is a work address, so if you expect it to arrive on a Saturday, then a friendly not to go into work for a few hours wouldn't be the worst thing in the world

i'll check with Bobby's neighbor to see if he is game for slapping a new label on the box

here's some hints on the contents of the box...
4 out of the 5 bottles were brewed in NY
2 silent brewery only releases (one from 2013, one from 2012)
    - one listed on targets "If you have access to the following, please BM me immediately. I will make it well worth your time." list
1 brewery is represented 3 times between beer and swag
1 beer (only non-NY brewed beer) is from favorite breweries list and on wants list
2 beers are great local representations of a style found on target's "Styles I enjoy" list

swag includes coasters, stickers, bottle opener, glassware and chocolate bunnies
