    That was my same reaction, about 75% of the bottle went down the drain, I wrestled the other 25%, enough to muddle through a review, then call it quits. Didn't care for it at all.

    Started with Avery Salvation, which I enjoyed. I followed up with The Tap Cold Smolder Smoked Lager. Sorry, more like a pilsener with virtually no smoke.

    A little more tame than previous years out of the gate, but very well balanced and not too overloaded with hops. Surprising coming from Stone, especially with how the past few years have come out fresh, but definitely digging it. I'm interested to try the Oak-Smoked version. I have one in the fridge right now, but will probably save it for another night.
