Unexpected surprise when I walked into Belmont Station this afternoon to find three of Prairie's offerings on the shelf. Not exactly sure how these guys are able to make enough beer to ship it all across the country, but it was certainly a welcome development. Here's to hoping that their barrel facility is up and running soon and we continue to see new beers from this excellent new brewery.
I put in a pre-order for some and hadn't heard it had come in yet, so fingers crossed we have some in there! I'm excited to try it.
Behold the power of Shelton Brothers. Love 'em or hate 'em, they're the reason so much of the country has access to Jolly Pumpkin, Anchorage, and now Prairie Artisan Ales.
Behold the power of greed and overpricing. I can think of no other distributer that jacks up the prices as much as them.
Beaumont Market had Prairie 'Merica for a while last year. That became one of my favorite summer beers. Definitely wish that would make it back out here again
FYI, someone revived a dead thread. There hasn't been shit from Prairie around Portland for quite some time.
