Son is in bed - now time to relax with my first BCBCS. Fantastic!

That sucks. This doesn't have a specific bottled-on date, just a '12355B1' on it in black ink on the neck, although the Maharaja has a 'Release #17, 2013' on it. It still tastes pretty damn hoppy though, so I imagine it's not that old.

 

I'm currently gleeking all over from this beer.

Wegmans is my go-to spot. It's the closest to me, and has the best selection usually as my other options include paying a ridiculous mark-up at pizza shops that sell take-out beer.

Fremont's latest and greatest. An organic pale ale brewed for Seattle Beer Week. If you guys could smell this...

 

This was just ahhhight... Should be picking up my bottles of Hopstache tomorrow though. Can't wait to try that!

 

Ok here go; the 1-2-13 bottle goes first and I can't see any noticeable drop off in head, lacing, smell, or taste. Still delicious, still hoppy. My feeling going in is that this batch might be slightly muted at this point but I won't know for sure until I crack the newer one.

Which Wegman's? KOP, Warminster, or Collegeville?
Whole Foods in Plymouth Meeting has, on average, slightly to not so slightly, better pricing on many beers.
Example, WF's was selling Yeti 4-pk for $14 and Wegman's sold same for $16.

WF in PM had Avery The Czar, The Reverend, and Maharaja today for $8/bomber.
