I played SC2 heart of the swarm for 4 hours after working out tonight with a friend. Now onto my beers for the night, re-rates as usual:

Damn good stuff as usual. Same opinion as last year so I didn't review it again.

First time I had this(2011) I gave it a bad review because it was like 50% vinegar as I recall. Glad I gave it another chance. Really great stuff. Not very tart, but overall really nice complexity all around of fruitiness and ever so slightly tart. Vinegar is hardly there, with some nice Wine-like complexity and floral/hay/grass. Really crisp and drinkable. Moderate malt balance as well.

After asking for 4 weeks, I got it(thanks for taking all month to get distro to MI, wtf). Anyways, I havent had this since 2010, I dunno what the fuck I was thinking, but Its fresh as hell now. SO damn balanced with citrus/pine hops and malt balance. 10% isn't even considered as existing on the finish. YES, i will be buying more as my other stores get a hold if it.

Cheers, I got some Ranger next.

Earlier this night, I was enjoying a select few bottles of Magic Hat PistIl. It was a beer (no shit...), an ale, if I recall correctly, flavored with dandelions. Fresh, extract, imitation chemical... I have no idea. Honestly, I'd drink it over colors, but not over PBR or regular, non light, Bud. It kinda sucked, but it could be good as a session beer for the uninitiated [to the world of craft beer], or a palate rinsing beer to have between two beers that you don't want to interact with each other, but will not be significantly affected by a weaker, lighter, more dry, beer.

I'd rather just have a Stone Levitation, in any case.

    Or maybe just water.

After drinkin some brews that I know I love (Two Hearted and Brooklyn Black Chocolate), my ticker came out and I decided to drive to Rock Bottom Orland (a few blocks away) to try something new. Ray's Belgian (I believe that's what it's called) is what I had. Reminds me of Leffe Blonde. Pretty decent brew. The quality of Rock Bottom beers seems to be somewhere in between Blue Moon and Sam Adams.

I drank a Stone Enjoy By 4/20 (tap) after work. Just one tonight, I was sick today but the hops really helped.

Underrated as fuck IPA, especially for being one of the lighter gravity offerings of the style. Simcoe, Cascade, and Chinook are good friends in the IPA world.

Hops have a lot of vitamin c, b6 & e which are antioxidents & help boost the immune system. Oils from the hops are also used to relieve pain.

Old Ruffian. Lots of alcohol taste in this brew. If that's your thing, pick this one up. Myself? It's hard to beat Bigfoot and Behemoth. (I tend to to lean more toward the American-style barleywines vs. the English ones.)

Began the evening a little late, but strong, with a Surly Abrasive (imported from Minn by my well trained daughter), then a Rogue XS Imperial Red Ale, followed by a Green Flash Imperial IPA.......next? who knows! Hope your brackets aren't busted too badly.....enjoy!
