2009 blabaer is delicious regardless of its size. i would take a 375 of this over a 750 of any younger yr... except maybe 2010

I think so? I didn't do the trade, I didn't even know what Peconic was before we got it in the mail.

Traded a rare to get a Peconic +. That beer was unbelievable. Also, as someone mentioned, I though the brewery who made this beer in the past is no longer there?

The brewery is still there, but the brewmaster left (and is now brewing at Two Roads over in CT).

I asked Phil about Peconic at the Igor's Dream release this weekend. He claimed that he wouldn't be making a Peconic clone at Two Roads as he didn't want to be imitating his own previous work. So, while Southampton may try to replicate the earlier beer, Two Roads likely will not.

i'd wager that very few peconics are left out there in the wild and those that are still floating around are likely in the hands of people who have had it before and that beer is one of those beers that you hold onto to drink...or use as trade bait for something whaley. while perscia b1 is definitely hot, additional batches will be releases annually and they are floating around in the trade forum...you rarely see anyone list a peconic as a FT item.

if you really want something bad enough, make an offer that is so good, it will motivate someone who has it to trade it. clearly this isn't a beer that people are chomping at the bit to let go of. i know, i'd LOVE another bottle of peconic and would be happy to slam someone with quantity of great beer since i don't have any whales to swap.

Basically, put up an offer for Peconic like you did Ann...or better.
