    It's probably been a few years--and I have no idea why. My "palate" for craft beer has definitely become more finicky over the years; but I like this one just as much as ever.

    Whoever said this didn't have a very good appearance (which, looking over reviews, appears to be a number of people) either did not pour it right or didn't have good and clean glassware, because if nothing else this beer looked phenomenal. Almost-clear body, great color, great head, fantastic lacing . . .

    Or maybe I've just become the best beer-pourer in the world.

    Reorganized the cellar and stumbled upon this, totally forgot I decided to see how some age would affect this brew...reminding me of Old Ruffian with a subtle oakiness, booze & heat seem toned down. Also, reminds me of the Racer X I had some months ago. Needless to say, I'm enjoying this bitch.

    I loved Stone's 16th Anniversary beer, at least fresh—never had it any older than about a week or two. But I thought it was dynamite. Cannot, for the life of me, understand how it didn't get more love.
