Southern Tier 2xMAS..... oh lord. Pretty much threw up in my mouth, no joke. I was spitting the rest of the taste out into the sink.

Anything New Belgium is wasted on me. I have tried a dozen of their beers and they were all crap. Sorry guys.

Maybe it's a different animal when fresh but, my word! This thing was truly terrible. Overly sweet malty mess. Drain poured 1/4 of the way in.

I thought the 'coffee' in this one was terribly subdued...wondering if I got a bad pack if others think the coffee was so strong.

That or I'm spoiled by Surly Coffee Bender!

I stayed away from that one, but bought into the hype and grabbed several 2012 TJ Vintage Ales when I was at one of their stores which sold them a month ago. Fuck that - for another 50 cents per 12 oz or less I could have had real Unibroue (which I've always enjoyed), rather than the watered down, over carbonated mess they put together on the cheap for TJ.

The only one above I've ever had was SA Summer Ale, but between that and SA Cherry Wheat I now know better than to ever attempt their Summer Sampler again.

Send me any and all of the rest of that ASAP!

Also most every shipyard beer with the exception of the Double ESB. That was very very nice. I'd actually like to try aging one.

Brooklyn Black Ops. Drinking it right now and am not a fan. Parabola prices and is no where near the beer.
