Thanks again to Polishkaz for the leads on these two beasts!
I got a great deal (IMO) on the StB and TNP at $93 and $69 respectively.
I've now got a pair of TNP, that means one has got to go down :grinning:
I wish the StB had its paper wrapper, but compared to the $135 another store wanted (with a torn wrapper) I can't complain too much. I also picked up some Heresy, Insanity and a few others I've never heard of (including Dolii Raptor aged in Dupont Calvados Oak Barrels:wink:).

And the new high octane guys are fitting in just fine with their roomates:grinning::

That Dolii Raptor sounds amazing to me. I just had that same beer but soured version (Dolii Raptorbach) and it was truly delicious!

 Can I offer a vertical cork of Beatification for them? One of my cork is yellow since I accidentally dropped it into my bowl of curry.:stuck_out_tongue:

Is it still a legit haul if there's nothing particularly rare or expensive?

Stopped into the local Wines & More today to pick the bones of the clearance shelf. So, yeah, it's Spring, but I couldn't pass up 99-cent bottles of winter beers. Ended up grabbing a few other things while I was there. The only thing I've previously tried out of all of this is the Mayflower Golden Ale.

I guess I'm some kind of beer vulture. Honestly though I'm still at that point of my beerdom where I can walk into a store and easily find a dozen common brews I haven't tried, so I don't feel the need to spend all that much.

That My Antonia, what bottle on date is that? Is that a new label or old? I'm taking an educated guess that its new.

My Antonia was a collaboration. There are two versions. That is the other brewery's version. They are out of Italy and I don't know their name.

The Duchessic is tasty - I've seen 375ml bottles of it from time to time around the Bay Area for $11-12, I think. Haven't had the Beersel Mattina, even after reading the label and seeing the 3F contribution - $28 is a bit too steep for me to spend on a (mostly) Italian beer with little track record. That said, Beer Rev has bottles for sale, if you find yourself in the East Bay and are still curious.

Lets say it's been a very expensive Spring so far in terms of beers that are now in the cellar for extended aging. These came in today and it felt pretty good to open them up. Missing a couple of 3F beers in the picture but nonetheless I'm excited.
