yes, which had me nervous because the seal was severely crimped...
luckily, it was perfectly carbonated despite my concern

Drinking my only CBS I received in a trade. Fortunately this bottle was a good one. Still taste the maple notes quite easily. Drinking this one with my brother tonight(got for him as Christmas present and just couldn't find a time to drink it). watching USA soccer shit the bed. Hittin the sack after this as I'm flying to vegas tomorrow for my bachelor party!

 

I'm always leery about swingtops, HF grolwers are ALWAYS wet around the seal but it seems fine for short term stuff. I've had a few swing top commercial stuff with a few years on them that were dead flat and oxidized. Seems like an odd choice of bottle for a Fantome....

Had this a little earlier today -- full review in profile. (3.98/5 RATING... Y U SO LOW!?) I'm becoming a bigger and bigger fan of canned beer the more I have it... between the Oskar Blues that I've had and the Finch's Secret Stache, I don't wanna have a bottle again.​

Yeah, it really is a fantastic RIS, and I continue to like it more and more with each sip. I'm really surprised that the cumulative rating isn't higher. Then again, it isn't limited, isn't barrel-aged, isn't a huge hop bomb, and isn't a overly hyped special release. I'm not sure if a lot of reviewers here on BA know what to do with a beer like this. (I admit it, I'm really getting cynical...)

 

You know, that's the first IPA I ever had. Didn't even know what an IPA was before I picked up a 6 of this for a party about 7 years ago.
