I'll try to send something too if it doesn't work out. It looks like he tried to sell his hotel room at huna, and then tried to set up a bunch of trades for huna right about march 10th. Hopefully I'm wrong, but there seems to be a lot of red flags. Although the shipping window hasn't closed, maybe a potential bad trader thread is warranted as maybe some people haven't shipped yet (being over 2 weeks ago, it's probably unlikely) ...

 

I'm not ready to get the pitchforks out yet -- while he's sort of dropped off the face of the earth (or at least BA), he did take the time to create a thread to thank StoutSeth for his box, and it seems like if he were just going to bail on this that he wouldn't bother creating a tracking number. Plus, the window's still open. All he needs to do is get the box dropped off and ideally check in here to say what's up, and there'd be no real harm done. His profile does say he's temporarily not drinking beer, so he could be mostly staying away from BA in the meantime.

If it comes to it, I'm also happy to chip in for a replacement box.

 

Yeah, I hope for the best as well and I'm not trying to call him out at all. I was just pointing out that he has been on BA almost every day, is not responding to BM's, and has potential pending trades out there. I thought to get feedback here so that I don't jump the gun with a thread, and it appears that the advice is to wait and see.

Agreed. For all we know something happened that is preventing him from shipping. He could be permanently logged into BA on a shared computer. Who knows. He's got time still

 

Anything could've happened and I'm not insinuating something malicious is going on. I'm just saying that if something happened to him, or he can't ship, maybe others have set up trades with him that haven't shipped yet. They would probably appreciate the info that something's going on.

Well folks, my porch just got hit! I've got to fix the crack that it left before I post the pics!

 

I'm hoped you liked it. You are not an easy person to get beer from with FL and NJ having similar distribution areas, and then you live close enough to hit up PA and DE. I'm just glad that you had rated a lot of beers so I wouldn't send too many that you had before.

BTW the Zuchov is the 2012, and the Intuition is called Underdark which I believe it was aged in Woodford Reserve barrels.

No, I think its just an Octopus.

 

Yes, an octopus. I don't know about your bottles, but mine even had the wax poured with 8 "tentacles." Super cool.

 

I dunno. It has 5 tentacles, a clearly defined forehead, and would go with the name of the beer. Either way, I'm pretty sure these guys played some AD&D at some point. I may have to track one of these down for closer study.
