New KBS Glassware for those interested

i forgot to mention this.
i was there about a month or so ago waiting on my gf. i happen to get there in time for a tour and was invited in. that's when they mentioned it to the group. i have the space in my car, just not sure if i should have or not. would be nice.

 

I don't really mind the size and shape, but I hate the white stripe going across the glass. They could've made something that's easier on the eyes, but oh well.. maybe the picture doesn't do it justice? I'm good on glassware anyways..

 

This is going to eat at me now. Didn't get a ticket for bottles so I was going for the party just to get some. Now that I am able to buy some with someone elses ticket I was going to skip the party to hit as many other breweries as I could. Now I'm thinking what if I miss something like CBS that they did apparently break out at the Winter Fest.

Ugh! Let's say they don't have CBS (why would they do that at a KBS release right?) what could they possibly break out???? Twist my arm and give me a reason to stick around.

 

Enjoying beer with those who appreciate it as much as you do isn't enough? I don't see how what's on tap changes this dynamic. Grab some KBS, a seat, and make new friends, many of whom have responded in this very thread.

 

I hear you and that's what the Friday night bottle share if for. I basically have two days and if I spend all of Saturday in Grand Rapids I miss Bells, Dark Horse, and Greenbush at a minimum because Sunday is Easter and they are all closed. Time constraints are a bitch.

 

Explore and meet new faces. I have yet to hit up Founders but i did see Bells and Dark Horse. Awesome places. I'm sure you'll have CBS at a tasting soon.

After the 4Elf party, i went to Bells and had great beer i didn't expect to have. i even walked out with some vintage beers of Eccentric in 6 pack form. I also ran into a brewer from GI clybourn and we shot the shit in there.

 

They told me 4.

 

Does anyone know if they planned on offering these all 4 days, or were they a treat for the first day people?

 

On FB they said online sales would follow the on-site sales so one can assume they will be for sale every day at the brewery.

I picked up three glasses today. Very nice glass once you see it in person IMO. I was skeptical initially.

 

Honestly, they told me no limit. I bought 3 though... I could have bought 10.

 

I want one of these badly.

I didn't like the glass. Decided to pass on it. which is not typical of me because I am a sucker for good glassware. this one just didn't seem all that well done.....but we had a great time visiting the brewery yesterday...

 

Amen, it's nice conversing with someone about beer who doesn't stare at you with a dumbfounded look and continuously nod their head to make it seem like they understand anything you just said.

 

This one is much better.
