I'm afraid FBS won't be released again until later this year.

Mid to late April is the current estimate, but it could possibly get moved back.

I don't know why people bother with FBS when Victory at Sea is on shelves.

What shelves? I haven't been to Specs downtown in a while if it's there.

    Oh, I forgot. Houston.

There are literally 4 cases sitting at my local Austin HEB in waiting for them to clearance out. Lol

Sea Monster isn't near as good as Victory @ Sea.

maybe they don't feel like vanilla that day?

I didn't get any vanilla from the bottle of V@S I opened earlier this year. It was a coffee bomb, but still very delicious.

in my experience the vanilla shines as it warms. if you drink it fridge cold, you might miss it. i've been putting room temp bottles in the freezer for about 10 minutes prior to opening, and there's a shitload of vanilla with the coffee behind.

to me at least, to me

Then buy a stout by another brewery that is better.

im kind of lost as to what you're saying, sorry.

better than fbs, or better than v@s?

i'm guessing you're saying fbs, since v@s is technically a "porter"..

when fbs gets here later this year, what other non-barrel aged stouts, with high availability, excellent pricing and are better than fbs are in our market?

    Stone IRS. Cheaper and better.

Sea Monster isn't very good and has awful pricing.

Yup I went to Specs and picked up one. Will post picture later when my Internet is working [posted from iPhone]. If anyone is interested, I saw a few 6 packs of Lagunitas Sucks @ Richards Fine Liquors and Spirits on Kirby, in Houston. It's a low-beer-foot-traffic store so I expect them to remain there for months unless some
BA's see this and go grab 'em.
