Since I live near the borders of 3 states, I am fortunate enough to have gotten access to lots of new beers the last couple years, including Green Flash, Dark Horse, Smuttynose, West Sixth, and Oskar Blues. However, my favorite by far has been Fat Head's and it's entirely due to one beer (yep, Head Hunter IPA).

New Belgium launches (officially) in Louisiana in 4 days!! I've also heard rumors that Green Flash will be making it's way here soon.

I am pretty excited about Alesmith coming to WI soon. I am surprised that Stone and Dogfish Head actually stopped coming to WI a few years back.

Glad to have Flat 12 and Lagunitas.

I miss Boulevard and DFH (DFH for the IPAs only).

Keep hearing that Founders and Bells are heading to Maryland but, until I see them on the shelves, I won't believe it.

Being new to the scene, I just noticed that Green Flash is coming to VA Beach. I know how a lot of my weekends will be spent, especially since it's a 1/4 mi from my friends house. Looks like they'll be here in 2015.

In Central Illinois over the last 3 or four years we've had the return of Great Lakes, Victory, and Lagunitas. For the first time we've gotten Alesmith, Green Flash, Bear Republic, Stone, Tall Grass and Dechutes. We're supposed to get Firestone Walker later this year. Over the same time we've lost Dogfish Head, Great Divide, and Heavy Seas. I miss those brands but I'd make this trade again without hesitation.

    Distro to my state: Founders

Brewery within reasonable driving distance: Blue Lobster in Hampton, NH. They're about an hour and ten minutes from me. I don't know if that's considered to be reasonable driving distance, but it's totally worth it to me. I try to get down their for growler fills at least once a month.

Since I've moved to Chi the Deschutes add was huge - I'm really geeked to have Ballast Point too, though I have yet to dive into their brand beyond Sculpin.

I haven't been in the game for 5 years, but the our most recent addition is Terrapin. Ahh, right and Ballast Point.

My experience in Philly/SEPA has been to see bottles of -tion and the IPAs on tap only.

I'm also pumped we're now getting Ballast Point. Sculpin and Victory at Sea are both wins. Can't wait to try the others.

I am unsure of the timeframe of 5 years but some of my favorite out of state breweries that we get in Southeastern PA are:

    · Hill Farmstead

    · Russian River

    · Firestone Walker

    · Cigar City

    Cheers!

I'll agree on both of these - NH got Founders just about a year ago. Blue Lobster is a good 45 minute drive for me and it's very worth it.

I would say Goose Island but, since I've only been able to find Honkers, 312, Winter Mild and the IPA, I'm gonna say Sweetwater. Still waiting on Founders and New Belgium....

In the last five years we've got Gigantic, Boneyard, Logsdons, etc. Can't complain at all.
