Believe me, I got an earful last night about this. I had no idea that the winner would receive so many boxes when I signed up. Starting today, I've decided to start rooting against my picks.

 

Not sure who my sender is, but I think I forgot to mention in here that I'm going to be gone this weekend... starting in about 30 minutes. So....... hopefully nothing is landing here this weekend, I guess is what I'm trying to say. Sorry for the lack of warning, but these plans kind of materialized a couple days ago.

 

Well...... I just caught MY earful as well when I arrived home today after taking the wife and kids to Asheville, NC for a spring break vacation. The young lady who watched our dogs while we were away and stayed at our house was kind enough to bust her ass dragging THREE boxes in off our porch while we were gone, and from the weight here it was no easy task. My wife watched me unpack each and every item, and thanks to XTENT is now firmly convinced that I have a boyfriend in California as, and I quote.... "There is no way he sent you that much beer unless you are servicing him on the sly or something." She then stormed off in search of a phone number for a private detective and a good divorce attorney leaving me and my gaped anus to relay this little tale to you fine gents. THANK YOU JARED, I am truly your bitch. Anywhoooo, on to the ****...................










I will inventory these in an upcoming thread as I will probably get carpal tunnel, writer's cramp, or a bad case of Bitch menopause in the time it takes me to document these.

Needless to say Jared, this was not at all expected but very much appreciated by myself. As for my wife, she probably hates you. If Mongo doesn't mind, I'll probably be servicing myself to Natalie Portman downloads for the forseeable future...........

What I don't see is the note for a growler filled from any brewery in San Diego when you are ready.
Thought I packed it in the box with the swag, sure she will enjoy knowing there is still more beer to come.

Jar of STONE Cali-Dijon mustard, should be handy on my next weiner.

Coffee mug from Descuttes with inscription "I'd rather have a Black Butte", this will further my wifes suspicions.

Very nice glassware, no smart ass remarks here. Beautiful Teku from Deschuttes and a large, man size snifter from Stone.

I must be dense or blind as I didn't see the note, I went back and looked for it but my wife probably found it first and ran it through my shredder or wrote her attorneys number on it !!!!!!!

 

I easily could have forgot to put it in there, I was enjoying some of the goodies you sent while packing everything.
Thanks to you, I now have some more beers to add to my want list because they were awesome!

Remember to lift with your legs. The woman at the drop off place wanted no part of carrying one of the boxes to the pickup area and told me to ignore the "employees only" sign. The first two boxes are scheduled to land tomorrow.

Apologies to my bitch, but I got the dreaded "Delivery Exception" notification today. I'm waiting for FedEx to call me back tomorrow with hopefully some more info. Still working on box 2, but was able to pick up some schwag already, so that's promising.

 

That's what you get for ditching last week's "Beer Packing for Idiots" class that I taught. Was it worth it, going after that $50 grand prize in the San Francisco Bay Area Scrabble tournament in Mountain View instead?

 

It was the 9th Annual SF Bay Area Scrapple Eating Contest, and I placed 3rd, so my anus is good a prepared for what's to come next week...

 

I'm glad we're sharing a car in two days.
