    I'm pretty excited about this event again this year and I'm wondering what other BAers are coming. I'm thinking of organizing something on Fri night or Sat morning in line...any interest?

    I'm going. I arrived about 10 minutes before they opened last year and there were maybe 15 or so people waiting. My friend arrived about 2 hours after open and had to wait a few minutes to get in. Can't say what this year will bring, but I don't plan on arriving way ahead of time.

    I also arrived at 8 at KBS last year...Even though it isn't a bottle release, I think it'll be crazier than last year. I was 1st in line last year and got there around 9:45am. I'm going to get there early again and get a BAers only table.

    Went the last 2 years, and absolutely loved it. Most likely can't swing it this year. Kinda sucks because it's always a great time, and Founders usually brings it with their taplist.

    Thinking about making the trip as I will be in Michigan for work the previous week anyway. Sounds like a fun weekend trip to me!

    Will this require taking off work on Friday and camping out all night to not be 500th in line like at KBS?

    I should probably be proactive and just take off Thursday as well, just in case. :slight_smile:

    Always a fun time! I've been 2 of the past 3 years and it is always very well done.

    Unfortunately I have to be up north for a family event. Luckily it's in Bellaire so I'll be at Short's all day that day :grinning:

    Actually, this event is horrible & everyone should stay away...seriously, Founders tricks you by telling you that they have special "barrel-aged beers," but what they don't tell you is that it's All Day IPA in Cabernet Barrels....on 2nd thought, that doesn't sound too bad.

    I here those dude's with the big blue tarp temp from the kbs release are going to camp out at 5pm again. Also the dude with the Boondocksaints tattoo is going to be there with his little dogs.

    I really should look into putting together one of those. I'm sort of in denial - if I added up what I spent on beer I'd probably cry. Who said ignorance isnt bliss?
