    Good afternoon BAs!. To those who observe Easter, Happy Easter! Went to the KBS release party yesterday and had a great time @ Founders. Kudos to them for an efficient, well run day. Stopped on the way back @ Bell's Eccentric Cafe and had a pint of Two Hearted (first pic) and now enjoying a delicious Michigan beer I was able to pick up on the way home. Cheers all!

    I found the Strawberry lager a little over carbonated but tasted good not outstanding.Cheers

    Lots of my beer geek friends have attended an awesome Easters tasting today, which I can't because of my damn foot sprain. Not letting it get to me though.

    Fantôme (USA export version) before dinner. Probably poorly stored for a long time. For the average beer geek, that just adds character. Slight sour notes, big aroma of tuna, cheese, feet, yoghurt and cat urine intertwining with beautiful saison yeast. You have to be a beer geek for this to sound as good as it tastes.

    Tonight's main event! I'll rest my sore ankle with this beauty. Goose Island Big John AKA chocolate bunnies for grown-ups. Big smack of dark chocolate and candy sugar. Surprising to find that sugar hit in the base beer, as I always thought it to be due to the bourbon in BCBS. Sweet, sweet foot medicine.

    switched over to Pyramid Outburst Imp IPA,not strong on hop aroma but drinkable at 8%,nice blend of hops and malt.cheers
