Okay, talking with a fellow BA and thinking about possibly doing a small tasting tonight. The Denver barleywine tasting has us salivating. Wondering if anyone else would be interested. Can't start super late as I work tomorrow. So maybe a 7pm start?

Yeah, tonight just works best! I know short notice, but we've got a hot line up and a small crowd! Maybe next time Davey! My schedule is screwed the next few weeks and I was really want to knock out some of these barleywines every one is talking about that I have yet to try. Knuckle Sandwich is great!!!

[IMG]Had a great time at the Barleywine tasting last night. We had 4 BA's and popped open 11 bottles of barleywine. Got a little messy near the end, possibly a bottle or two too many  We did it March Madness style/blind tasting.
    The overall winner was King Henry. #2-Bligh's, #3-MOAS, #4-Abacus, #5-Sucaba, #6-Flying Mouflan
Other barleywines tasted: FFF Behemouth, Hebrew 15:15, Schlafly Reserve 2010, Stone Old Guardian 2007 and Duck Rabbitt. Great time and look forward to another blind tasting!!

Cool, I definitely Agree that King Henry was #1 Then Blighs #2.. Both were Solid! Looks like a great line-up. Too bad you didn't have Hoppin Frogs BA Naked Evil. It was my 3rd fave..
