    Funny. Yet pitiful.

I'm not much of a baseball fan and thus have not spent much time at baseball games. However, I have been to a few in Boston, one in Oakland and one in Queens (or wherever the Mets play). At the Mets game there were legit craft taps. I distinctly remember stuff from Allagash, SIerra Nevada and Brooklyn. It was awesome. Seems like if the Mets can pull it off the Yankees could too. I would imagine they have the money to do it....

I would imagine part of the reason why is because MillerCoors has a deal in place with the Yankees that only allows them to sell their stuff. I don't know that for sure, it's just a guess.

That's pretty funny. The article says the Mets have better craft and links to this list:[IMG]

There's at least a few options mixed in with a sea of shit (4 varieties of Bud Light, plus Bud Select!)

Most venues have shitty selections. Fenway and the Garden are exceptionally shitty

what a true statement of affairs at the stadium..if George were here this wouldn’t be happening.. thankfully I’ll be spending my time in flushing where there’s real beer and baseball

Sign painter not a beer drinker?

(Or maybe just a drinker of the two light flagship beers of that particular company, so not familiar with the concept of "hoppy"? :grinning: )

This title does say these are the 2012 selections, I wonder if it's changed at all this year. As a long suffering Mets fan, if your gonna put the low budget product out on the field they have been putting out the last few years, you better damn well have a few decent beers to choose from if you are gonna get me out to the park. I am getting tired of chugging cans of Resin in the parking lot before I walk into the stadium.

Anyone know if the beer concession in right field at Yankee Stadium is back this year? At least there were some options (GI Honkers, Thomas Hooker Blonde, Blue Point Toasted). As someone who does the baseball park crawl NY has some crappy options. Chisox had Half Acre on tap last year and Miller Park was pouring New Glarus. Gotta tailgate to have any shot at good beer.
