So does this mean you can start shipping to FwB? I am unfortunately about to move out of the area but really want to continue my weekly PW habit. I am hoping y'all will be willing to put together like a monthly box of that month's releases. I know you probably haven't figured out all of the details yet, but will be extremely grateful to get deliveries in the future.

I think they applied that they are "shipping" their new larger brewhouse, not shipping bottles of beer. You could possibly arrange that with WLV since they ship and are a FWB store.

my reading comprehension in this thread is terrible. thanks for pointing out my idiocy. brewhouse does not equal bottle shop and i see now they are saying two weeks shipping for the water heaters. at one point, I thought PW had mentioned they would ship to FwB once they opened their bottle shop.

I believe you are referring to the additional items that you get with your FwB membership if you are unable to pick them up in person.

    from the FwB into email:

We don't have our bottle shop open just yet... (thinking mid summer), so we can't cash in your 50% Off Coupons, or mail any beer to your house yet... very sorry... but trust us... we REALLLLLLLLY wish we could!

Huh, now that would be quite the novel idea albeit logistically a bit taxing. Thanks for the clarification.

If most of the FwB are local, and there are 300 total, it might not be too bad. I'm just hoping they are still planning on doing it. Definitely sounds like a full-time job for someone. I guess in the meantime I can have another FwB pick up my allotment and hope he doesn't drink it before I have time to pick it up:slight_smile:

They've mentioned shipping beer to FWB's when they can handle the workload. Personally, it seems like it would be quite taxing with everything they have going on, but who knows. They quadrupled the number of employees in the past year!

Friends With Benefits - Pipeworks opened this up when they were originally funding, so it's a closed group of people. There are people who are Friends with Benefits, and then there's the rest of us.

And Jerry Seinfeld said it couldn't be done. The FwB's have the This and That. Better watch out or PW is going to want the Other.

Once we have a packaged goods license we'll be able to ship FwB bottles to those out of state (to states that allow it). It'll work like this going forward... we give you a list of everything on the schedule for the month, you say which ones you want to hold for you, then we ship you out of a box of bottles and you pay the shipping. We'll only be doing this for FwB and we'll have extra staff just for the bottle shop. We have a meeting with our new alderman on the 16th of April to finally move this (and maybe some other awesome things) forward... wish us luck!

Also, we'll send the same list to instate FwB, and we'll hold your months worth of beer for you to pick up all at once, rather then having to make trips every week (or you could come every week if you want)

We know our brew schedule way further out in advance now... so instead of weekly fwb e-mails, you'll get one a week in advance of the following month.

Also, the plan is to have this sorted out by the time the barrel age stuff starts to be ready.
