KBS in DC area

Dvines on 14th has it, 1 bottle limit.

 

Just had a friend pick me up 2 bottles at Lost Dog on Columbia Pike, he said they had them in the back. Also K-1 got a few cases in this morning but idk if they still have any.

 

Just stopped at Dvines. Guys there said they never got any...

 

Rustico Ballston had it on tap, tonight, Alexandria tomorrow. Fine batch.

 

D`vines on 14th and Irving? They must either not want you to know or don't know they actually have it. I got mine from there. Probably cause I spotted the box right when the shipment guy came in with all the boxs.

 

I picked up two bottles at Rodman's around 4 today. They also had Stone Dayman Coffee IPA. Today was a good day.

 

Nice. Yeah seriously, same store - both dudes behind the counter played dumb and told me they weren't getting any in. Oh well, scratching D'Vines off my list forever. I don't care to be lied to.

WF in Fairfax is out. 2 bottles per customer and I was customer 25. Oh yeah, they only got 2 cases.

 

My most excellent and totally worthy son just told me he had successful procured the last two bottles of the 2013 KBS at Whole Foods Fair Lakes. From the time of his phone call, it must have taken less than five minutes to sell out if Lee started selling at noon as stated on Facebook.

 

Yea fairfax is tapped out. I was lucky enough to get my two bottles though. I have never tried it before so I am very thankful.

 

I went to that TW and they only offered me one bottle, so I'm confused

I'm not the least bit upset at missing out today at WF because I did net 4 bottles between TW Sterling and Chantilly but I was a little puzzled that my post was quoted by the guy whose son got the last 2 bottles in front of me. Came off as gloating to me...

 

Sounds like business as usual for these guys. I gave up on trying to track down limited releases at D'Vines and DeVinos ages ago because they always pull this bullshit. I've been lied to there more times than I can count.

 

Westover Market in Falls Church started selling them at 3. 8.50 a bottle, 2 per person. Bit pricey but if you're still looking for KBS they might be one of the only options left. They also have DFH Sixty-One if anybodys interested.

I won't be chasing any KBS most likely, but good luck to those who are (or already got some) - it's a tasty beer!
