There's nothing quite like that feeling where you think you have a box of beer waiting for you and you can't wait to get home from work... and then you open the box and it blows you away.

Yes, its a homebrew. I brewed a triple that I oak aged in a 5 gallon barrel and hit it with a little bourbon at bottling. Tastes amazing, going to actually enter it in some contests. Did a side by side and its just a little darker and more bourbon-y. Maybe after a few weeks that will smooth out. I hit 9.5% or so. Its just great IMHO. Very proud of it, let me know what you think.

Haven't had a number of these beers yet, and am excited to try them. We've been getting Stillwater for a little while in GA but I haven't had a chance to buy any, so I am excited to try them. Some really nice choices. I tried the chocolate covered bacon and holy cow is that an interestingly good combination. Thanks for the box Guy, thanks for organizing the BIF Brandon and have a happy easter everyone....I'm headed to the Masters today.
