ISO! This sounds like a great time, Black Friday was an excellent event, I can only imagine what this will be like. Seriously, send me a message if anyone can't use their tickets, I'll make it worth your while.

 

I've never reported anyone on this site about anything, so I'm going to say no, that wasn't me. This is the first time I have commented about this event, so again, no.

 

That's what it would seem like, I had a trade set up for a pair of tickets and had the trader back out of the agreed upon trade for "a better offer". I hope I am able to attend, this event sounds killer.

 

That was my story. DLD and my girlfriend's birthday two days before the event. Just couldn't justify it financially. I am very jealous of all of you who are going!

 

In my opinion this is going to be the event of the year. The Black Friday shin dig was great! Every event Goose puts on has exceeded my expectations, I do not doubt this will be any different.

I talked to a GI rep a few days ago who was unclear what part the main brewery would be playing in this event. Based on that, the vagueness of the description (what beers?), the lack of descriptives on the glass (yet another mini-nonic?) and the price tag, I passed. Already prepared to regret not buying a ticket, but maybe that will be the perfect Saturday to enjoy my 2009 BCS bomber in my BCS snifter.

 

Sounds like the perfect pre-party for this event!

 

If they do have King Henry, then make sure you get a pour. I had the fortune of getting a pour last night at a bottle share event, and it was excellent. I'm not even a big barrel aged guy, but the dark fruits were all there and you get all the bourbon flavor with almost no heat. It really did deliver. I lucked out.

 

general info I've heard is that they'll have at least 40-50 different beers pouring (both at the bar and at stations throughout the pub) with Fulton helping out to supply plenty of their goodies as well...
