Who's getting their KBS today?!?

Store by me has it for like 10.99 for a bottle. Definitely gonna go for it after work.

 

Wow, prices are insane. I have a 4 pack waiting for me at a cost of $20, I'm ecstatic.

 

Just picked up a single, lonely bottle.

 

Thats another thing to take into consideration with all this the gas you used driving all over creation looking and your time.

Ok, so which one of you was waiting at Brewers Outlet and sniped my case that was reserved before the owner even cut the check to the driver.

 

SCORE!!! Just landed a 4-pack! FINALLY! (3 smileys 'cause I was 3rd in line)

I had a bar owner tell me straight out he keep half a case each year just to have and he keep 4 of the 6 CBS bottle he got for himself.

 

Picking mine up today after work, got some waiting for me at my bottle shop...don't know the allotment just hoping for more than one

 

It sucks for the consumer, but long term, it's the bar owner's prerogative. First, he's losing profits, as those are big mark-up items he's not selling. Second, he's damaging his relationships with his patrons, limiting the breadth of his offerings for selfishness. Finally, if word gets back to the distributor, he's going to damage his relationship with them.

I always assume karma gets around in situations like this.

 

I got 2 bottles. I'll take it. Prob. drink one tonight and one on Sunday.

 

That's unfortunate. The employees at my usual shop each get the same allocation the customers do (this year it was one bottle per person). One poor guy won't even get to drink it because his girlfriend loves the beer so he has to give it to her.

 

Some of it is going to my buddy in Michigan as good will for hooking me up with some Dark Horse recently

 

Cool, what some BBPT5? I couldn't get down there to get any of that unfortunately. I still need to go grab a 4 of the regular before its all gone, but its hard when I keep spending all my money on bourbon lol.

 

I have talked to the staff and they said he know how many bottle he has in the cooler and they can't even get some. I think the owner gets off on hording rare beer but what are you going to do.

I paid anywhere from 23.50 to 27.95 for a 4pk.. Got three 4-pks total (one for a buddy) and don't regret the price after seeing what some people are charging. I've heard of $10 a bottle at some places around me... Not to name names...wesco gas stations...

 

4 pack of regular PT5 and 2 double crooked trees. He's a good dude though, sent me some Hardywood Gingerbread and didn't want anything in return. I owe him and then some.

 

Wesco sells KBS? I never even looked beyond the slushie machines.

between myself and two proxy cowowrkers, scored 3 at local Whole Foods. Effing $7 a bottle, but Im happy and cannot wait to drink one fresh. been years since Ive had one fresh.
