Finished a Little Sumpin' Sumpin' which is fresh, been a while since I found a fresh one.

Now I am on to an Abrasive, since it is still around, for now. This will probably be the night cap, but we will see.

A little Parabelle for your listening pleasure, I am a bit obsessed with this band.

Went to see Charlie Hunter and Scott Amendola in Hillsborough, NC tonight. Had an Olde Hickory Death By Hops pre-show. Then Cottonwood (Foothills) Endo IPA and a Blue Point Oatmeal Stout at the show. Narwhal is capping the night off. Amazing, intimate show and fine liquid throughout. Cheers ya'll!

I'm with ya on the GNB. I bought a sixer of the Hopstache, and had one. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of it. I need to try another one, and almost did but decided on having a GNB instead. Gotta try another Hopstache just to see if I was off on my first taste. For me it was just all pine. But I'm up for another as soon as I can!
    Cheers!

Tonight was an impromptu "Keep It Simple, Stupid" night spurred on by going to the grocery store to pick up a single bag of mixed vegetables to put in the fried rice I was throwing down. Stuck to year-round, easy-found goodness. Started with a Session Lager (surprisingly delicious), working on an OB Old Chub (fantastically malty) and have a CCB Jai Alai on deck (the Closer).

It was def very very piney. To me it had a huge grapefruit/citrus profile that I loved. I could sniff the shit out of that beer for days. Very drinkable too!

Anxious to try it again and see what I was missing. I think I have 2 left after handing some off. Maybe this weekend!

I would agree that this a beer that must be shared. I was able to get 2 bottles of 2013 so I wanted to try one by myself (with some sips from my wife). I must say that Im feeling it.

I also have some 2011 (Abacus) and 2012. This stuff is amazing period. This years batch seems a bit lighter on the mouthfeel though.

Well...plans changed into another impromptu beer night. Started with the duck rabbit milk stout, then... Bell's Oarsman, Bell's Smitten, another duck rabbit, Bell's Kalamazoo, Evil Twin Epilogue, New Holland Oak Aged Dragons Milk, and Jack's Abbey BA Framinghammer. A great night full of firsts! Thanks again to my sister in law and 3 days off!!!

This was a lot better than I thought it would be. I really liked the spicy pepper heat.

Oh oh! I know the answer! I'm so late on this, but the answer is: What he had in his cellar.
Do I win a KBS?
