    will be interesting to see how these rank out. Might be interesting to let people not rank beers they don't want....

    Then each beer could have two numbers, avg ranking (min and max too I guess) as well as % of Not Ranked.

    I can say there are beers on that list I will rank lower just because I don't want them (already have or had). But subjectively value them more than other beers.

    This is why I'm going to take the results at face value unless there are clear front-runners. I'll be more interested in if I get a bottle I want instead of the results.

    The way I read it, you can't trade your bottle for something you ranked lower. Correct?

    correct... if you rank something lower than your bottle you will not receive it

    example ranking
    if you ranked the beers:
    1-Boddingtons
    2-Harp
    3-Old Speckled Hen
    4-Bud Light
    5-Coors

    if you submitted Coors you could in theory receive anything on the list
    if you submitted Harp you'd only be shipping it if you were getting a Boddingtons in return
