I would put Head High up there with the best IPA's out there anywhere. Love the Overhead too. A canning line is very expensive though so I am not gonna get my hopes up on this just yet.

Take it easy now... Not that I'd be opposed being way closer to some awesome IPAs.

I was at the ac beer fest yesterday and got to try Kane for the first time. I asked them if they were going to start canning or bottling, and they basically said that they've talked about it, but have no set plans to do so.

That was my understanding also which is a shame. They have a world class IPA in Head High and should figure out a way to get it bottle or canned so the masses can enjoy it. Not to mention that they (Kane) can cash in on a great product.

It'll happen eventually.. They're just slow with everything. Mike said they'd be letting people purchase kegs last year and that still hasn't happened yet.

    Ye
Yea I'm sure theyll do it, but im sure it'll be a few years if its been a year and they still don't even sell kegs. My finance's parents live near the capt Lawrence brewery up in New York and it was the same deal with them. They only did growlers and limited 750 bottlings for a few years until they moved to a bigger location and expanded the brewery, now they sell sixpacks too.

We ask about this during almost every visit and the answer is always "soon." I'm really hoping it happens this summer.

I'm actually glad they arent canning/bottling most of their regulars. It forces everyone to consume the beer the way they intended without having to deal with expiring shelf turds and people complaining about how something "wasnt hoppy enough."

I think I've sent about 5-6 growlers of Head High to date...people that try this stuff always want more!

Same here man, I've probably sent 5-6 growlers myself. I really can't wait until the IPAs are in cans because I will extra the shit out of them (not to mention drink one of each every night...).

OMG yes, I do still wish they were open at least one day a week so I could stop in at lunch and get some beer...

Yeah they really need to expand their days/hours. I heard some talk about Sundays in the summer, but like everything else, we'll have to wait and see...

I too have had a couple requests for their growlers, I have only sent out 1 Overhead and 1 Morning Bell though.

If anyone's interested, I'll be bringing some fresh Hill Farmstead growlers and bottles to Kane on Saturday. It's still not confirmed that ANTEAD is being released that day, but there's a decent chance.

According to their twitter, ANTEAD is available in the taproom now, which sucks for me since I won't be back stateside until the end of the month. Can you guys not drink it all before I get back?

They're actually talking about the taproom of the Somerset Hills hotel where they had an event last night. But...it might be going on at the brewery this weekend. I hope so, making my first visit Saturday!

I'll probably be there the entire time with several bottles and growlers. Hit me up!
