If its pints, it's only 60 servings, 120 for snifters. Should of known it wouldn't last long.

    Austin population <1,000,000

    Houston population >7,000,000

7.5 minutes makes perfect sense based on those stats...

Goes to show you how much craft brewing marketers know about volume vs being hip.

This speaks to why more brewers should target Houston, not Austin IMO

Oh, and so much for getting myself a glass... Should have known better than to go to work!

How the hell does Houston have more than 7 million people? I don't give a shit about how fast KBS sold out, but that number is just silly.

Ridiculous numbers. Houston's population is 2.1 million, Austin's population is 820,000. If you want to include "metro areas" those numbers will both go up (to about 5 and 2 million, respectively), but lets keep things in perspective and use actual facts.

Home with the family. Didn't feel like fighting traffic to get to either location. Will try whatever is on at Petrol tomorrow and then try my luck there on the 20th for KBS.

Heard the Doom was good, though, from another buddy. Would like to get some of that.

As of the 2010 US Census...
    Houston City Proper: 2,100,263
    Houston Metro Area: 6,086,538

We are the 4th largest city, Predicted to be 3rd by the 2020 Census.

Because those numbers are fair. LOL. You're comparing Austin proper with the Planet Houston metro. Austin metro is more like 2,000,000 when you count all the surrounding areas like you're doing there.

I don't have time for this, I've got other stuff to do on my gigabit internet while sipping down some Firestone Walker.

SL Saucer was the only place in Houston to get some Doom.

OK? So even the metro number is still almost one million people shy of what was stated. Plus, it appears that metro was not being considered, since Austin metro is greater than the "<1,000,000" cited.
