Picked up a bunch of Gandhi-Bot when I was out of tate. I've never had it before since they pulled distro in MA. I've been drinking it like crazy. What a damn fine beer!

Ditto. Shit is real real. Blows the KBS I had earlier tonight out of the water. NEBCO FTW.

Although RedRum is a very delicious beer and I rate it very high, KBS is better. I know it's your guys opinion and that's cool but I think you are letting your NEBCo bias show. No disrespect intended...CHEERS

if you have any interest trading any RedRum for a KBS - shoot me a BM. Cheers! (this goes for anyone)

Dude if I had an extra I would in a heart beat but I drank my btl and gave my other as an extra to one of my great traders. My only mistake was grabbing just 2 btls. I wish I had the funds to have grabbed more. Great to drink but better trade bait...CHEERS

Also I apologize, I come off as a bit of a lurker on this one, that's something I can't stand, last thing I want is to be like another BA from our great state....CHEERS

Yeah, well, you know, that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

I drank both beers in the same night, and while I loved both I preferred the flavors in RedRum by a clear margin - as did my friend with whom I split both bottles, and is nowhere near the NEBCO fanboy that I am happy to admit I am. Your equally subjective preference happens to be different, which is fine, but I'm not going to accuse you of basing your opinion on "bias."

I've got a few RedRums left, and consider them far better candidates for personal consumption than for trade. If anyone wants to give me another one for a KBS + something else to even up $4$, I'll do that in a second.

    Cheers!

Love the first line, that great.
Everything is subjective to personal taste and that's fine. The bias part comes from (and you admitted it) that you are a fanboy, I personally would've gone with poster boy and that's cool too man. I'm a a walking billboard for Smuttynose.
We all have our own opinion and I'm not trying to change anyones. IMO they're both great beers. Matt and Rob were spot on with this one but for ME KBS beats RedRum. I love NEBCo just as much as the next guy but I don't think all their beers are exceptional or world class.
If I had extra RedRums I'd trade the to you if you had something I liked. I'm not gonna argue with you man we both have opinions they just happen to be different

Hm, I think you're right - "poster boy" does have a nicer ring.

I don't doubt that my affection for my local brewery and the great people who run it bleeds through into my enthusiasm for their beers, but I'm not as convinced as you are that I'm actually tasting the homerism. I honestly enjoyed drinking RedRum more than I did KBS, and I had them in close enough proximity to make that comparison without doubt.

If it makes you feel any better, I enjoyed them both more than the Gandhi-Bot I drank earlier in the night (which was of course delicious itself).

    Cheers!

I enjoyed the Shit out of the RedRum both times I've had it.My Smuttynose Big Beer glass was empty before I knew it. Believe me I hope they make this one again so I can get more, I just prefer KBS thats all. No intentions of offending or pissing you off, you're a good dude the few times I met you and you know your beer.
On another note smutty33 and I did a side by side with Heady and G-Bot and the Bot was right there with Heady. They were both amazing....CHEERS
