Don't worry about the snow. Hold cold is it getting? I just took a look and the forecasted low is -2C. I wouldn't worry about that. It is barely cold enough to freeze a Coors Light. That said, I wouldn't recommend shipping on a Friday anyway. Wait until Monday so it doesn't sit around somewhere on the weekend. Just make sure it gets picked up on Monday (ie: drop it off in the morning)

Edit: I looked at Montreal. I am not sure where your box is going. That will matter too. And yes, I realize that I could look but I am lazy

 

Yeah, heard about that. It's early spring though so who knows what could happen.

 

My box is out. 33 pounds (209oz plus a bonus 24oz of homebrew so 233oz) headed East of me. Should be at someones door by friday afternoon.

 

Makes me glad I shipped when I did now.

 

I think it'll be fine... I'm going to just send it out. I'd love to do it on a Monday, but I'll never have time to do it before the post office closes. We'll see... it'll either be Friday or next Monday if I can get someone to bring the package in for me.

 

Drop it off on Sunday and it will get picked up Monday.

 

My box arrived at my work yesterday, walked into my office this morning to find it waiting for me. Woohoo! Will open it tonight and hopefully post some photos! Pretty much ready to send out my box too, acquired a nice glass last night to include.

 

That's the problem with getting beer delivered to your work! I always have my trades shipped to my work and the boxes usually arrive in the morning and I am stuck staring at the box in anticipation all day until I go home and open it.

Are there any other boxes in transit right now or are most people waiting out the weather until next week?

 

Mine is expected to hit my target tomorrow.

 

Depends. Where i used to work, i would open it anyways, couldn't wait. Just made sure there was no one around (worked in a warehouse so that was easy).

 

I say you open it anyway lol. Work schmerk lol.

I shipped my box out today. Scheduled to arrive on Tuesday.

 

For the record....I think I sent approx 222oz.

 

Holding out on a beer that might not come out in time. Might have to find a substitute.

Weather report from the North Pole here- temps for Winnipeg are showing a low of 24F for Monday which is -5C. That's too borderline for me, as 5%-6% ABV beer will freeze at that temp easily. So, I'm going to wait still. Depending on your risk tolerence, I'd recommend anyone shipping through MB do the same.

Edit: Got up the courage to click on the 10-day forcast. Geez, it's showing mid 20's all week here for the low. Let's hope the 22nd (Mon) is warm enough.
