I just started buying some new glasses and have almost 10 glasses of different kinds, my favorite being my Goose Island pint glass with the etchings on the outside. Not a big fan of the brewery but I like both the shape and weight of it, being a lot lighter than any other pint glass I have. I know which beers are intended to be served in which type of glass and all that but what sets a the same style glass apart from another glass for you?

to answer you question for the same style of glass it would have to be the etchings and logo on the glass itself, im always looking/buying glassware

Comfortable in the hand, size, durability, overall aesthetics (shape, etchings, logos) Haven't put down my DFH signature for a few days. It's been a good run.

I like all my glasses, but my faves are my Duvel Parra glass, new belgium globe, and my most used glasses my sierra nevada hop tulips. One of the best all around glasses IMO.

If I'm looking for beer in a glass, that means it's time to order another one.

My go to for bigger beers is my 22ounce snifter. I love that glass and i use it for all big beers.

Other than that i usually use my FFF tulip int glass for ipas and most other beers.

My favorite glasses are actually Carnival Cruise snifters that are from my first family cruise in the early 1990s. I guess my parents ordered a few drinks and kept the glasses all of these years. They were going to throw them away until I saved them.

So yea, snifters that hold a good amount and focus smells are always good.

I actually like heavy, sturdy glasses that are blank. I have 4 favorites right now that include an English pint glass, American pint, snifter, and something that's a cross between what a Belgian and a hef would be served in.
