The cost depends on the brew. Hoponius Union usually goes for about 9-10 bucks and the rest are either around there or higher for the premium brews (Framinghammer, BA Framinghammer, Saxonator, BA Saxonator)

I just picked up a single bottle of The ABCs. I'm hoping that I didn't make a huge mistake by only grabbing 1.

Amarillo, Citra, and Centennial in Hoponius, IIRC.

 

Ryan and Casey in Greenfield had the Framinghammer.

 

I guess I'll hope to find some more next week or something.

I was going to say to check the Attleboro area, but you're better off just going to the brewery if you feel like taking a trip for it.

 

ABC's is good but I don't think it's as good as everyone saying.

 

Love this thread. I'm a bit biased towards the JA guys, as they're quite literally "my local", right down the street. But at this point, one just CAN'T argue against the overall quality. Good for them.

Generally not a fan of Baltic Porters, or barrel aged brews... but after catching up on this thread, looks like I'll have to grab some BA Framinghammer tonight. Might not be my favorite style, but gotta at least give it a show.

ABCS... kinda with Jnorton on this one. Don't get me wrong, it's a good, solid beer. But I can't help comparing it to Kiwi Rising (same style from same brewery, after all), and in that comparison... it does kinda fall short. But that's as much a comment on the brilliance of Kiwi as anything else.

Hoponius... DAMN, it's nice to have a reliable, local, go-to hoppy beer.

And, with summer coming... let's not forget Jabby. Hoppy session-ish lager for the hot summer months? Yes please.

 

Agreed. I prefer Kiwi, Hoponius and Ginger and Juice to ABCs in terms of their hoppy stuff. Its good but not my favorite.

 

Woohoo! MA finally has a hyped brewery! Let's all heap praise on said brewery and not offer an ounce of dissent or criticism.

 

Not a huge Baltic Porter fan, but I just a BA Framinghammer. Incredible beer. ABCS is great too but I would not say it is as good as Hoponius or Kiwi.

 

Feel free to offer some yourself.

 

It's true. We've been begging for the prestige associated with having a brewery like Shipyard in our state.

 

If you love Jack's Abby and have nothing to do this Saturday, Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont (MA) is doing a tasting from 3-5. I'm sure they will have the goods. Cheers!
