I completely agree here. Too many abbreviations going on, especially when they are coming from 'brewery only" releases. Sometimes I may be interested in a beer I've never heard of; but "BBFT" means absolutely nothing to me having never heard of it. It's not just the OP, it's everybody.

If you search dripa under "beers" you get two options.
    Specific is always good.

Yeah, but in the ISO's, the OP specified Kuhnhenn beers... there's only one from

Also, this has nothing to do with what my post was saying, it's not an acronym

I'd wait for the next batch to trade at this point. I've had a bunch since release and while still good, it's getting less and less juicy.

    This is completely accurate.

The hops were a main component, and they are fading. It's still very tasty, but it was fucking magical when it was fresh.

Thanks for the advice. This comes as a disappointment but also an opportunity. Will they be making a second batch?

Yes. Not sure when, but Juicy is supposed to be brewed again.

I'd think you'd be able to score a Juicy+ with BBFT and KRE.

But then again I tried Juicy and couldn't taste the hype. Mimosa is magnitudes better and Arthur is pretty much on the same level.

If I can't taste the rareness, I don't want it!

that's pretty much exactly how i feel. mimosa was better, arthur was at least as good. i gave up a BAB9K 1:1 for juicy and CD5 and neither of those were nearly as good as BAB9K :slight_frown:

I traded a Fou for Juicy and Civil Dis #5. This is when it first came out.

Since Juicy requires spent Mimosa barrels...does that mean? shhhh...

i traded DDG for two Juicy and pre trade for one of the upcoming releases... Juicy is just that good. Its by far my favorite from HF, and one of my favorite all around beers ever.

I have four bottles and wouldnt trade them for anything

Part of your problem is that you're offering a lot of things that someone could get from anyone that lives near Kuhnhenn, any time. It's like trading someone Heady Topper (if you live near Waterbury) for rarer, small limit bottles. BBFT is up there, KRE value has plummeted thanks to the douchey way they released that beer subsequent to the 1/person.

I agree that this beer is best fresh. Similar to Nelsin Sauvin Brut. Save whatever you have to trade for the next batch.

I had a bottle of Juicy like three weeks ago and it was freaking awesome still. Honestly, I liked it better than fresh. In fact, when it was fresh I almost didn't get much saison notes in this. It was more like a combo citrusy IPA with a splash of Art or something (I know, the horror). Now, this is getting to be something else. This bottle had an insane amount of sediment, it was a bit funky, citrusy and just magical. IMO, Juicy still has some good time left. I'm lucky to still have a couple, I also would not trade them.

The thing that I love is that Juicy is one of the most unique beers I've ever had. It's awesome, definitely one of my favorites of all time.
