It was a pretty small crowd. They tapped the Pumking well ahead of 7:00. I'm pretty sure they were even letting people get multiple glasses of it. Definitely a tasty beer!

I went last night. Got the first pour around 6:40 and it floated right before 9pm. Also got one of those stemmed glasses, so I was pretty happy!

Yeah there were people only ordering Pumking. I had two glasses of it.

I should have met you when I was there! I was only there for about 20 minutes.

Do they brew a beer that just flies off the shelves?

It seems that they make quite a bit of what they brew. Right?

I mean, places that get it, every time I've traveled there, there seems to be plenty of Choklat, Mokah, Oat, Creme Brule, etc., just sitting on shelves, so I dont think it runs out the doors. There might be markets where that isnt the case, but I've seen plenty of their stuff getting dusty on shelves in lots of different places

I doubt it will gather dust here, at least at first.

No, people will run out and crazy hoard it all, not realizing that there will be plenty and it will be readily available. Luckily I have some Choklat in my beer cellar so I can wait out the insanity.

Ditto. I'm in no hurry to get it. It will gather some dust here eventually. It's just new to the market.

Just had some unearthly. Good but have had better. Probably won't buy again. Am I way off on that?

Compared to 2XIPA, I thought Unearthly was amazing. A+++ Would drink again.

Kinda like Ballast Point. Gabriels has tons of VaS just collecting dust.

I like it personally. If I drink all of mine, I can just go pick up some more.

I like VAS with some time on it. It smooths out the Coffee which is a bit too harsh fresh (even at 3 months).

I love BCBCS fresh, but the coffee is much smoother.

Only Southern Tier beer I'm really psyched for is Choklat and Backburner. Even then Choklat will only be a couple times a year type of purchase.

I really think ST will be more of a draft thing for me. I can't see me buying any of it in large quantities right now.

If anyone would like diabetes, they have Creme Brule on tap at the Whole Foods in Bee Cave. I think the price was pretty reasonable, too - something like $12 or $13 for a growler fill, I think.

I could sure go for some Diabetus right now
