Very, very ambitious Saturday planned. Bringing my gear over a friends house to brew up two batches. Doing a Stone RIS clone that will eventually have bourbon and port soaked oak cubes added and an IPA that we just threw together a recipe for. Then we'll be brewing a traditiional Lithuanian liquor called Krupnikas. A grain alcohol concoction that will knock your d#ck in the dirt. That one is more of throwing everything in a pot and simmering but the challange will be staying sober enough to not screw it up.

This will all be done while our 6 year old girls are running around with demands on our time and attention. The woman are gone for the weekend...It will be a great time regardless of results.

Finally got around to it yesterday. Only reason I get to brew this weekend.

Doing a single hop El Dorado IPA with all late additions. Got a pound of the stuff and I've never used it, excited to see what it brings to the table.

No brewing for me. Planned to do the APA IPA this weekend, but when I said to myself I would brew it, I forgot that I was going to Augusta tonight for the Masters, and have a tee time, and shindig at the CC Sunday afternoon. Doh!

So, the only beer chores I might be doing is trying to drink the rest, or bottle the remaining bit of a double IPA I have on tap that is close to kicking that I'm tired of drinking. I have a great hoppy Blonde Ale and a Peanut-Butter Cup Stout to keg, and only room for one in there. Probably the blonde, and then try and get my Mosaic IPA to kick soon enough for the PBC Stout.

Hope everyones brew day goes well. Mine would be covered in pollen if I brewed this weekend anyways.

A traditional bock wouldn't use caramel or carapils malts, I believe. My guess is that the red lager referred to may end up being more like an Irish Red.

My yeast didn't take off last week so I'll try again on my summertime Helles Lager.

We have to work tomorrow, so we're brewing Sunday and then taking Monday off to brew again!

Rye ale on Sunday and a hoppy red on Monday. Suck it, work.

Lucky bastard! Yell FatCity after Rory tees off, I'll listen for you on TV.

Possibly some bottling for me this weekend. I'm waiting for the RB clone kit from Flying dog to finish up. The Diablo yeast is amazing. It still has about 2 inches of karausen on the surface after almost 3 weeks but the OG is slow to drop. I started to knock it down a few days ago.

Not brewing. Might get to it by next week. I would brew, but tomorrow I'm going to the RABC (Blanco Brewery) 14th anniversary party. We have a driver and some dudes and plan to burn the place to the ground!! :astonished:

Well, we're gonna have some beers and a good time at least. They do make great beer. :grinning:

I'll be brewing either a summercrisp ipa or agave wit kit. I may do both if motivated enough.

I am probably going to make a cider since I do not have much time to brew this weekend. I found some really fresh guavas at the farmer's market this afternoon so hopefully I get can a berliner weisse going some time soon. I love having access to countless exotic fruits found in Florida.

Just bottling. It's a Brewers Best saison that has been modded with crystalized ginger added in the boil with some blood orange and grapefruit zest mixed into a turbinado sugar addition which were all fed to the wiley ways of 3711 and thrown an assist with a dry hop addition of Sterling.

I'm a bit nervous though now that I realized it's actually a partial mash recipe and not an extract....I'm "not allowed" to brew indoors so I need to find a dual propane burner.

Was hoping to brew tomorrow, but my order from Brewmaster's Warehouse has yet to arrive. I'm holding out hope that it shows up tomorrow morning and I can still get a batch in. If I do, it'll be a Citra Saison recipe that I've become quite fond of.
