On an unrelated note, how's the beer scene progressing over there? I haven't really had a chance to check it out since I was home in 2011, but at the time Whistle Binky's was the only decent beer bar in the city. Has anything else popped up recently that I should check out when I fly back this summer, or should i just head back to Binky's again?

 

I'm not an active trader, but I could help you out. The Tap House on 3rd st downtown opened last year. 50 taps, more of a hip/professional vibe. Worth checking out.

 

There was quite a bit there when I bought a 4 pack, which performed a disappearing act last night. It's damn tasty and im hoping there is more there this evening.

 

Plenty at the NE store, I was just there.

 

So tasty! Enough of it has made it south that I am heading North!
