Your argument sounds as dumb as the "Pliny drops off after 24 hours" people.

Is there an ETA on when we can expect these? I'll have schedule my first brewery trip for this one I guess

It should be ready in 2 weeks, but it has not been finalized yet.

Sounds like the perfect time for me to make my first trip to the brewery.

Which argument are you referring to? You're being vague.

Went on a tour today and they explained that the lagering process kills of the yeast and lets the hops shine thru

Spread some JA love this weekend with a buddy who had never had ANY Jack's Abby before (!). Split bottles of The ABCS and BA F'Hammer with him and he was thoroughly impressed.

I missed out on JA release party this weekend but awesome to see momentum increasing for BA's seeking BAFH and other Jack's Abby stuff. How are variants tasting? Regular is superb, glad I have a few bottles left. Once the DC Brau and Lawson's collabs drop us Mass BA's will be flush with trade worthy goodies. Plus Kiwi at end of year.

Cascadian is best black larger I've tasted. I am always leery about black ipas this delivers. Also just traded with a buddy for Alpha King and Rye of the Tiger. I gave him Hoponius, ABCS, and Cascadian said he enjoyed each one and was even more impressed that they were largers

I've loved both variants. Judging by the reviews I'm in the minority but I prefer the Coffee over both the regular and the vanilla. It's down to percentage points really though.

My initial impressions were that I prefer the coffee over both. Vanilla was very similar to the original, but obviously with a hint more vanilla. Coffee really impressed me

I remember when they were sending out the first batch of bottles under a new contract a couple years ago. Spent the Sunday after St. Pat's fixing mistakes made by their labeling unit on several cases of Jabby Brau. Knew them from prior brewery visits but was far from a regular customer. Just felt that one should always support their local0ish breweries. Left enough of a fan that my easy grab beer shelf in the cellar now always contains fresh JA beer.

My guess is they seem hyped on here because the tone of these forums is very rarely moderate. The joy of discovery remains from glass to glass for a lot of people. Plus, some people are just proud of the dudes.

So far as Framinghammer goes, the regular was my mortal enemy when it was on tap at the brewery. It needed to come home with me everytime and letting it fade the tiniest bit by not finishing in one sitting was CRIMINAL. My drunk dialing got kinda epic there for awhile.
Enjoy the barrel aged varieties I've had at least as much. Some BA beers make me just want to go have whiskey but that isn't a problem with these. Think my favorite so far is Vanilla. Planning to do a side by side with the regular as soon as I re-home two bottles of the coffee. It'll bug me if they're around and not included. However, there's a 50/50 shot I won't be able to digest that variant. Will chance that with super common stuff everyone can get their hands on but with releases people were bummed they missed, I feel that's shitty.

Agreed. Just read the same thing. Refreshed my screen and you had posted it. Swimming in JA right now. They have beers to satisfy me for the entire year.
