    like I said previously, a stout is under the porter category and at 8.5% it could cross between either... Sometimes some good old homebrewing can help people learn a lot more about beer...

    A 8.5% Porter vs a 11.2% Imperial Stout is pretty much the definition of apples to oranges! It's the same as people on here comparing zombie dust to Pliny or Sucks, again different Styles although similar beers, should not be compared head-to-head.

    Zombie to Pliny is a more apt analogy I have had both fresh though and zombie crushes pliney!! Lol
