Apparently it also rustled some mod jimmies. Yeah, it was deleted. This one guy was whining that Founder's screwed it's "true fans" by getting into Texas and Florida. He didn't name them but said two large markets. And was whining about less KBS.

If it even makes it. I would be surprised if it does. After Rumpkin vanishing, I could see this vanishing too. I hope not though!

Rumpkin vanishing? I seem to remember buying 4 in December-ish. :-D

Uncle Jacob's was an easy get last year.

Very little Rumpkin made it to Houston. HEB Bunker Hill somehow managed to get a few bottes in late January/early February. That I didn't hear of any other stores getting any.

Ah, I knew stuff went fast there, but that sucks. Yeah, most of mine went to Houston peeps that missed out. I just figured it went quick, not that it didn't make it to shelves at all!

Yo, I guess the jimmy talk is acceptable since it pertains to Founders, but the BA Avery, though amazing, doesn't, and I don't want to see another thread get axed for some bullshit, so let's keep it to a minimum.

Well. I'll be at Petrol tomorrow at some point before or at 12. I'll be wearing a shirt of some kind, and also some pants. Really looking forward to Burton Baton on tap, and to try Curmudgeon, 2012 Old Guardian, maybe the XVI IPA w/ Green Tea Leaves, and of course, KBS.

By the way: I had a sip of Founders Imperial Stout tonight, and it was amazing. Right up there--but very different from--Stone IRS as a perfect exemplar of what the style should be.

This is one hell of a line.

EDIT: I'm also fascinated by... The fascination with Creme Brulee. It just appeared a while ago at Draught House to no fanfare, as far as I know...

Just to make it three posts in a row: I'm at the first table on the left when you walk through the door. Sweet, sweet air condition.

Everyone I knew kept saying "Petrol is going to be such a shitshow!" tons of people, etc. It was a decent crowd, but nothing crazy. I got there around 10:50AM and was 2nd in line. I got back in line after getting my KBS and grabbed a second one (yes, they said it was okay) meaning everyone in line at noon got KBS.

Meh, you don't want to talk to chow anyways. He'd probably just start rambling about his Black Crack collection.

Had Doom today at Pinthouse Pizza in ATX. Fuck, you Houston guys are right. After it warmed up (yes, warmed up) this beer was AMAZING. Probably the best BA IPA I've ever had (granted I've probably had less than 10).

Yeah, last I checked, he had like 7x as much as I have. Thesonofabitch. I really need to get Doom... I just don't wanna pay $10, man! But I guess it's worth it to try it.

I was there with my buddy Thomas lol, maybe 10th in line or so. Pretty sure I was wearing some teal sunglasses. KBS was tasty, Creme Brûlée was so so. Favorite of the afternoon was the Stone 16th w/ Green Tea. We headed to Karbach to try Roshambo, Love Street and Hopadillo Black around 2pm.

I just had my first KBS, thanks to HoustonZ33, and man is this beer good. I'm greatful for the chance to try this beer, but regretful that I don't have more bottle. I cannot wait for this beer to be available in bottles, in Houston.

    Thanks again Mycah.
