Lagunitas' Waldo's Special Ale around Minneapolis

    Does anybody have a list of what bars in the Twin City area are going to be getting Waldo? I heard that there are just 8 kegs coming to the area and I am going to a show on 4/20 at the Fine Line and there would be no better way to prep for it than to find a bar somewhat nearby (or on route from St. Louis Park) that will be pouring this.

    Thanks, but I was worried that somebody was going to say that. I want to go there the very next day for the Founders event, with my GF who is also going with me to the show. But if we end up there on Saturday, there is no way that she will want to go on Sunday, when I am going to need her to DD me back after those high ABV beers.

    The other place that I know, so far, that is getting it is Gold Nugget in Minnetonka. Which is a nice local place for me out this way, except that it is 4 miles in the exact opposite direction when considering that I am going to the Fine Line afterwards. Admittedly, the B&B would be perfect if I wasn't already planning to be there the next day. Hopefully somebody from the distributor will chime in with a list of the other 6 locations getting this.

    If I recall, both Muddy Waters and Bryant Lake Bowl ended up with it last year.

    Yep, Black Angels! Saw them in a small club on their first album and wanted to check them out again now that they have a few albums worth of material under their belts.

    For the show; if Bryant Lake Bowl ends up with it, that is my best bet. Otherwise, maybe I will end up at Nomad.

    Grumpy's NE had it leftover tonight. Also, the Black Angels blow ass. I saw them open for Black Mountain a few years back and my impression was they were ripping off early Butthole Surfers and I left early into their set.
